Zanzibar

Going on safari is always an exhilarating experience but those very early mornings, adrenalin rushes and late nights around the fire exchanging stories, don’t come without cost.
So, the best way to end the safari is to take a few days off for a bit of restorative relaxation… and there is currently one favourite place that African Leisure Safaris suggest you do this!

Beautiful Northern Mozambique

Flying over the Quirimbas Archipelago in northern Mozambique has to be a “once in a lifetime it must be done” sort of experience!
As I was flown from Matemo Island along the delicate string of coral-ringed islands and atolls known as the Quirimbas Archipelago en-route to Pemba Bay, I could simply not get enough of the view below – utterly clear water graduating from the palest amethyst to deep indigo blue!

And this time we were in the province of KwaZulu-Natal (KZN), South Africa. We were en-route to the massive travel show, the Durban Indaba, which is held each May at the enormous Durban International Convention Centre.
